I love volleyball. When we have it Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and an all day tournament on Saturday I’m on cloud 9. Sometimes though, I come home from work, have a cup of coffee, hang out on the couch and come to the realization that when I didn’t want to go to volleyball at 10am I’m still notĀ up to it at 5:30pm.

Tonight was one of those nights. I tried, like really tried. I stopped on the way home to grab chicken breast, taco fixin’s and dog treat ingredients. When I got home I unpacked it, had my coffee and made two batches of dog treats.

 

These are Peanut Butter Cheerio and Pumpkin Oat pup truffles. I am working on recipes because here soon they will be for sale for all of my friends, family and readers! Exciting right?!

I went downstairs and hung out with Jeremy until he said something about volleyball and I finally fessed up that I didn’t want to go. I’m not sure if it’s allergy related or weather encouraging but I am just not feeling it. I was even going to work out once he left but I just can’t get up the energy to get into it. Sometimes you have to say I need to listen to my body and take a day off. Regret wrecks havoc for a while but I eventually get over it.

Instead of feeling bad, I’m making dinner and catching up on Dancing with the Stars. Then I am climbing into bed early and giving my body the rest it needs.
