#NOEXCUSENOVEMBER

Welcome to November! How it’s possible I do not know. It will also be 85 today so that can’t help.

I’m not sure about you but November seems to leave in a flash, we blink through December and it’s a new year before we know it. It may be because I work in retail but the sad reality is, we only have 61 days left of this year and we need to make the most of it.

November seems to be the time that everyone starts finding themselves too busy. Too busy to work out, too busy to eat right, too busy to brush their teeth before bed because they are too tired (guilty over here).

I am holding myself to a No Excuse November rule starting today and I encourage you to join me. What does that look like to you? Well let me show you what it looks like to me.

1. Brush and floss my teeth before bed every night.

I will do so good for so long and then I’ll go a night or two as a rebel and find myself convincing myself it’s okay once in a while because “I’m so tired”. Not this month buddy!

2. Work out/do something active for at least 5 hours a week.

Seriously, we play volleyball for two hours on Monday nights, if I worked out 4 other days a week, this should be no problem. Plus the weather is still nice so Ke$ha has been getting a large amount of pup walks.

3. Drink my water!

I don’t know how many times I need to remind myself to drink water, while I’m at work it doesn’t happen. I get going and forget. I will drink 75oz. a day.

4. Eat mindfully.

This one is probably the easiest for me but still can be a struggle. I don’t like to think in terms of “I can eat like junk because it’s the holidays”. I am going to eat well all month and have little treats sprinkled in.

5. Spend time being grateful with those I love.

How often do the holidays become, “I’m so busy I don’t have time to do this or that with you”. This month especially is about being grateful for the life you get to live. My instagram will have a post each day up about what I am grateful for. Will you join me?

Those are my five goals starting today, going through November 30th. I am going to keep up with them weekly and I am going to stay accountable through my blog and instagram. Make your own goals and don’t hesitate to share them in the comments below even if it is one or two.
