RX Bars

RX Bars

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that we had gotten new grab n go bars at work that I had been wanting to try so I figured that I would grab a couple and let you know how I liked them.

I tried the two that I thought I would like the most, Mint Chocolate and Coconut Chocolate.

Let’s be honest, the packaging is really catchy. Nice job RXBAR. I appreciate products that have the simple packaging like this.

The first day I tried the Mint chocolate. It didn’t have a super strong mint flavor but just enough. I really enjoy the sweetness that comes from the dates and flavor of the cocoa.

A couple of days later I tried the Coconut Chocolate. I am a lover of coconut and did not taste a ton in this bar. I would like a little more but it was still very good. Again, the dates and cocoa were a good combo.

I would purchase these again if I didn’t have a snack or breakfast picked out.

These are on the chewier side but I liked the texture.

The only thing is, don’t try to munch on them in between talking to people. They are a little sticky and you may become self conscious to speak to someone in between bites like I was.

Also, the macros were not outrageous on these. 210 calories, 9g of fat, 13-14g of sugar (remember the dates are natural sugar) and 12g of protein. They are Whole30 friendly if you were wondering!

I am probably going to order the Sample Pack on the RXBar website in the near future. You get 12 bars for $27 and I am really wanting to try the Pumpkin Spice and Coffee Chocolate, both of which we don’t have at my work.
